The European Union sets quotas to collect and recover waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Since 29.10.2020, producers of electrical and electronic equipment are obliged to inform annually about achieving the quantitative targets on the separate collection of WEEE (§ 10 Abs 3 ElektroG) and the recovery of WEEE (§ 22 Abs 1 ElektroG).
