Video surveillance of Hahn Cargo Services GmbH

With about 140,000 tonnes of air cargo, Frankfurt-Hahn ranks third in Germany, and this trend is rapidly on the rise. Hahn Cargo Services GmbH is a 'one-stop shop' for freight, from unloading to pelleting and documentation and onward transportation. The capacities of the 8800 m² warehouse are big enough to store the cargo of several airplanes. Several thefts prompted Cargo Services GmbH to install a video surveillance system from ABUS to better monitor the goods stored in the warehouse and the loading of palettes and special goods.

  • With a zoom factor of up to 432, the installed PTC dome camera misses nothing
  • Two PTZ dome cameras with 360° rotation and a pan/tilt function can be used to monitor activities in the warehouse

Long distances between cameras and recorders

  • Amplifiers help transfer the video input signal loss-free over distances of up to 1000 meters using coaxial cables
  • Several 4x signal distributors ensure that the video input signals of the cameras are received loss-free on all installed monitors
