ABUS has effective solutions for basement shafts: Cellar grate locks protect against the most common burglary method, prying. Sturdy large retaining plates rest on the grating and the frame. There are two different designs: A sturdy metal rail and - especially for plastic manholes - a variable chain that connects the solid retaining plate to the masonry.
Grating safety devices are always installed in pairs. Thanks to a special lock, they can also be used for special escape route regulations.
